Since the charity began, Luna's Lodge has been our ultimate goal.

Our vision is to create the perfect safe haven retreat, combining the luxury of a hotel with the privacy of a secluded log cabin. Our aim is for the lodge to bring comfort and an escape to parents at their lowest, offering them breathing space between themselves and the outside world as they adjust to their new reality. 

During the last 5 years of our fundraising journey, we have been determined for our dream to come to fruition. We are over the moon to share with you that we are now in the very early stages of planning and designing how this very special place will look and feel!

We envisage for Luna's Lodge to be a three bedroom, two bathroom, open plan cabin encompassing:

• A blissful master bedroom with an en-suite bath and luxurious bedding
• A deluxe double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a shared shower room including a rainfall shower
• Robes, slippers and indulgent bathroom products
• A large comfy sofa with fluffy blankets to nestle into
• In-cabin entertainment for movie marathons
• Open plan fully functioning kitchen with a coffee machine and utensils 
• Luxury food hamper on arrival containing all neccessities 
• Private hot tub and outdoor fire pit to enjoy the peaceful outdoors
• Large windows to let in lots of light and to maximise the impact of the beautiful views
• Reading and reflection nook for journaling, reading or flicking through magazines
• Outdoor dining space for alfresco meals and drinks
• Sibling friendly; bed guard, highchair, stool, travel cot, towels, child friendly products, safety gate
• Dog friendly additions; cosy bed, bowls, towels, blankets, treats
• Lots of personal touches to ensure each stay is tailored to each family

Not only will it be a getaway for grieving parents, but also a sanctuary for anxious parents to find solace during pregnancy after loss. An escape from their overwhelming worries, thoughts and feelings as we start to offer 'Babymoon Breaks' as an additional service to our Story Raine Project.

We are therefore launching this special appeal to secure the final £100K in order to procure the lodge, the land, the furnishings and finishing touches. We are currently working hard in the meantime to identify the most suitable location for it in Cornwall; the county where Luna was born. We are kickstarting our fundraising mission by raising the first £5,000!
